  1. Dear Agnes, you have brought so much to my life through your shows. You have made me laugh, cry, scream and think. You along with my parents have taught me to love people for who they are. You have helped me through bad times in my life by giving me a small space of time in my day where I could escape through your shows. I will miss them so much and the stories I know you still wanted to tell. All my love!

  4. Dear Ms. Nixon,

Your vision and creativity in bringing All My Children and One Life To Live to life is nothing short of genius. Thank you for giving us years of enjoyment with these shows, which came into my home five days a week, and fifty two weeks a year, which brought such familiarity, it felt just like family. A family that saw me through many trying days. It was a comforting thought to know they were always there. Hopefully, we'll see them once again. Again, many thanks for these beautiful creations.

  5. Dear Ms. Nixon,

Thank you so much for creating these endearing shows. My 84 year old mother introduced them to me as a young child. She learned to speak English by watching the stories that played out every day.

Your contribution to the fabric of society will always be remembered through your stories.

Thank you again for sharing your masterpieces with America.

  7. Agnes - Thank you so much for creating such wonderful stories that have made me laugh, cry and kept me wanting more. I have been watching One Life to Live since I was a teenager and only something as special could keep me and so many others glued to their TVs for so many years. Thank you again, you are truly a special person and I hope that OLTL and AMC live on somewhere all soaps are safe.

  8. Dearest Agnes - Thank you for the bounty of your life's work in All My Children and One Life to Live. Though I only followed AMC, I know that fans of One Life to Live feel similar to me in that without the stories you wove our own day to day lives would have been incomplete. I laughed at and with Erica, got angry with David, hated Adam, loved Bianca and many hundred other emotions on a weekly basis. Never a week went by in over 30 years that I didn't spend time with my beloved Pine Valley family.

    Thank you, most humbly.

  9. Thank you for so much drama I could watch on television and escape my own daily drama! I loved watching AMC and OLTL before I became as a preteen, teenager, mother, and grandmother! Yes, that is how long I have been watching! Started watching with my mother and have shared with my daughter-in-law! I fell in love with your stories - real love, not puppy love! I thank you from the bottom of my heart! I was so in love with OLTL I was known for taking my phone off the hook so no one could bother me! I love every character! Thank you for blessing our lives for so long Agnes! You are simply "THE BEST"! xxoo

  14. Dear Ms. Nixon,
Thank you tremendously for all the wonderful years you gave us with All My Children and One Life to Live. Without your brilliant mind to create the original characters and storylines millions of viewers would never have had 40+ years of enjoyment from them. From Erica Kane and Viki Lord to the youngest generations of both shows that we never got to see grow up, you helped bring families and heartfelt stories to us. These characters became friends and almost family to us the devoted viewers. And while the shows suffered some from some misguided writers and producers over the years, whenever you were involved hands on they soared. My mother, grandmother, siblings, uncle, aunt and even dad watched both of your shows for years and that's how I got involved. I even met some of the cast and had a background part on All My Children with an MTV show. What an incredible experience that was and would not have been possible without your creativity and Bible that started AMC. You are a woman of great courage to have pursued some of the story lines that you laid out, they were ground breaking. I hope that you get the rights to the shows back and find a way to bring All My Children and One Life to Live to life. They were cancelled before their time, like all soap operas. I'm sure you have many great ideas for the shows if they are brought back. Thank you again for everything that you've done over the years. You are a wonderful creative genius, much like the late great Irna Phillips and William Bell. I pray you are in good health and have many more years with us and stay involved with soap operas.
    "Remember
    The great and the least,
    The weak and the strong,
    The rich and the poor,
    In sickness and in health,
    In joy and sorrow,
    In tragedy and triumph,
    You are All My Children."

    All my love, hugs.
